Thread: How close is close enough?

Just wondering how close everyone shaves themselves on a regular basis. So please tell me about your everyday shave.
Do you go for a BBS shave everyday so you look like Xman (pg 4), RICHZ (pg 2) and FIRESTART (pg 2)? Or is a less than BBS shave good enough for your day?

I only do wtg pass on the neck and wtg and xtg on the cheeks and chin. This gives me a way closer shave then crap 3 ever did, and though you can still feel the sharp edge of the stubble when rubbing your hand against the downward growth on the cheek, it looks shiny smooth and clean.

I have very very flat growing hairs though, and have never shaved ATG in my life.

Only shaved once so far (last night ) and I did wtg and xtg on the cheeks. Thats really good enough for me. As I get into this I may push it farther. Need to get my shaving road map on my face figured out first

Actually I go WTG and ATG every morning. But then again I can be a tad anal at times.

WTG and ATG every morning. I hate the shadow thing and my beard is to rough. My little girl will feel and tell me it hurts if there is stuble there.

I also go with the WTG and ATG shave every day. I wouldn't say it's because I want the BBS feel (although that's part of it). For me, more passes = more fun!

I usually shave with the grain, then across the grain on my face and against the grain on my neck. Usually I go BBS and will sometimes go against the grain on my face.

I find if the blade is really sharp this is more than adequate. If the blade is not that sharp my neck always has considerable stuble.

On the cheeks and jawline, WTG, XTG, ATG. On the neck WTG and ATG. On the chin and lower lip, WTG and a little bit of XTG and ATG. One the uppper lip WTG and XTG. That is pretty much everyday. On those "off" days when I just don't feel like it, I just do a WTG all over.
