Thanked: 0What Bag do you guys use to carry your straight, and all equipment?
Hello,
I'm looking for a travel bag that will play nice with two badger brushes, two straights, scissors, electric clippers, and an assortment of bottles and tins.
All of the quality "dopp" bags I'm finding are similar size as one I already have (3.5" x 4" x 8.5") which is pretty small
Looking for maybe 6 x 6 x 12 with a few large loops for the brushes and small loops for scissors, and the straight razors
What bags are you all happy with. I have a 200 dollar budget for this bag. (or around that amount)
Thanks,
Marcello

Razors in their individual cases, all cases wrapped into one supermarket carrier. Synthetic brush in toiletries bag, I don't travel with natural hair brushes because the cannot dry properly in a bag. Paddlestrop in its cardboard case and wrapped in another plastic carrier between clothes. Everything else in toiletries bag.
Nice and cheap, saves me 200 bucks to waste on RAD and HAD.Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr.

I have one of these that carries most of my stuff. I also have a very nice roll that I got from a member here that I use as well. I work a three week shift in a remote location. So I pack up regularly. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Thanked: 0Wow, that's really nice Rez... where do I find those? What is that style called?
I tried searching the web for a shaving roll, but didn't find any products.

Thanked: 4827I got it as a gift from my dear sweet wife. If you google leather roll dope kit it will come up quite quickly. That is how I got the image. I believe she ordered it from a company in Seattle. You can also find them in waxed canvas and ballistic nylon. I also have a cheap nylon roll up that is for other thing like nail care and you name it pills. Because my work is in a remote location there is little opportunity to go to the convenience store and no such thing as a sick day so cold meds, and any other OTC stuff needs to get taken with you.

Just waltz in to your nearest and Tandy leather factory and make yourself a nice roll! Nothing more satisfying than using a case, bag, or roll that you made yourself.
