It all looks pretty straight just not centering properly. Should just need a bit of correction at the pin. Is it a little loose at the pin or quite tight?

Thanked: 0It's tight enough to hold any angle, and there's no give at all, besides when you push it into the scales all the way.

A bit of adjustment at the pin should fix it. Still not something you should have to do with a new razor

Thanked: 0Spoke to a local barber, and he seems to think I'm overreacting, and that something like this will never impact the blade in any way. What are your thoughts on that? Am I nitpicking?

Thanked: 433As long as the working part of the blade isn't touching it should be ok. It shouldn't be like that on a new razor though, it should center without touching

As long as the edge doesn't contact the scales and you are careful closing it it shouldn't affect function but it isn't how it should be and as its new then its been sent out defective.
