Thread: Looking for help

Newbie to SRP and straight razors (currently, a DE man). I would like to make contact with anyone in my immediate area to discuss straight razors, honing, stropping, etc. Anyone out there close to the Wilmington, NC/Myrtle Beach, SC area? PM me if you wish. Thanks, oldmandon

If you go to the community tab of the tool bar, click on member list, then find advanced search in the upper right, and then you can enter your search parameters to find local members.

If I remember right, there is a big get together in NC at least once per year, so I think there are a bunch of people at least semi close to you

There is a page here somewhere that lists experienced members that are willing and able to help. They are listed by location. I tried to find it but have not succeeded yet. That does not bode well for a beginner's ability to find it.

There are a group of guys that get together every few months in the Triangle area. We have been meeting lately in Pittsboro. I live in Cary. I would be glad to help too. There are lots of other folks too with more experience than me. But I have learned a few things.

I had to hunt for it, it's "under quick links", then "SRP Staff"

Following your previous suggestion, I found three possible members to contact for the info I was looking for. I PM'd them and I'm waiting to see what might come through. Thanks again for your help.
