Cushion is for people who are into pillow fights. Real men just shave.

This while cushion thing is, as stated previously, complete and utter bollocks. Dreamt up by the same sort of people who invented stropping progressions and "artisan" soaps. Ease and consistency lather production, glide, skin care. End of story. And yes, I used to use the term, too, but I'll readily admit that it was a mistake.

Whatever that means!
Sounds like the Ad men have been reading the shave forums and picked up some buzz words to try out.

I thought "cushion" referred to my stomach pushing against the edge of the sink as I leaned toward the mirror, razor in hand.

Speaking of which... I need to loose a bit of this cushion.
