Every time I buy a new razor I cringe and think about how this was supposed to save me money originally...before the fever and obsession kicked in. At least I'm not supporting Gillette anymore. In fact to replace my Fusion blades I think I need a Dubl Duck Wonderedge, a 7/8 Wade and Butcher with a smile and barber's notch, a Filarmonica and a Puma 69.

How crazy are we??
Well if you open a separate bank account, separate credit card and have all your stuff synced with paypal to a UPS store, you are warming up.
If you hide your blades and soap in boxes in a closet and bring them out month later, we can talk.
If you know a guy named Torloff from Norway making you a custom strop,
If you know a guy named Maurice from Belgium sending you a coticule.
If you know a guy named Mike from South Africa who sends you a Zulu.
If you know a guy named Andrew from Baden and your on a wait list for a brush.
You decide to take your significant other to Europe for vacation and devise a plan to ditch her for 3-5 days to get Mastro Livi to make you your own custom razor and matching strop.
Yeah then your full blown RAD.Your only as good as your last hone job.

I did this once upon a time, the link below is to the thread where I posted most of the stuff I had at that time. Needless to say, it's grown beyond recognition now. I've got a good 4+ years of collecting behind me. I've even rid myself of those things I just don't covet.

H-- Any day I get out of bed, and the first thing out of my mouth is not a groan, that's going to be a good day --

Thanked: 77I'm relatively new to this but it's a start. I'm already trying to get rid of some so I'm not sure if I'm going to catch the bug.

I'm sorry Gent's but sh$t! That's most of em. I have about 10 more, ok, 15 in the drawer that suffer my regular rotation. Later this month will be one year SR shaving for me. I didn't have room in the photo to add the synth hones... Strops...
Cartridges? Hell, that crap was cheap compared to this sport.
Smarter than I look or, not as dumb as I look. Whichever you prefer.
