Newbie thoughts
Been shaving with a DE for years! The SR bug bit and today there are two things I think, I think! After two shaves (partials ala the recommended beginning point) under my belt I've got the SR bug bad!. I hasten to add I've viewed a ton of vids on YouTube and joined this site even before my first SR/strop/DVD arrived from SRD.
First of all, I wish there was a way to shave more than once a day! Just kidding, but the learning curve would be much faster (notice I said learning curve, not process!) if there wasn't so much time between shaves!? Secondly, I wish I'd bought the 3" strop. As Lynn Abrams says, 'The 2" or 21/2" will work but the 3" is pretty much ideal." Add the 3" strop and a bunch of other goodies to my next SRD order. I can't remember being this excited since the 8th grade picnic!MattCB and criswilson10 like this.

It will keep you excited longer than the picnic too. I still look forward to shaving everyday. Just wait until you can't decide which brush to use with which soap with which razor...
