New or lad doesn't mean they are shave sharp, and we all thought we stropped well , I tend to think its time for a refresh. A dull blade leads to more cuts and weepers, we always compensate by using more pressure and changing our angles ,, good luck tc

Thanked: 1DMA: Newb here too. Only 5 shaves. My MO even before the SR was to shave every other day. Sometimes pushing it to 3. I am still using that. I haven't shaved 2 days in a row yet. Maybe you don't have that luxury. We that are off the clock and off "the boss" can flex these things. Someone here, I tried to find it again to give credit, said something that rang true with me. Don't try to shave everyday if you don't have to. I find the more growth I have the easier it is. With limits. I wouldn't want to shave a beard right now. Someone else said to me don't worry about using the old "bag 'O razor" we've used for touch ups or maybe to avoid those cuts. Having a day off as was said gives the face a rest and you too. I wonder if being so intent every day is kinda makin' you jumpy around those nicks. Let them heal. I'm sure you have styptic. Although I used it once I found a skin conditioner to do just as well healing up. Best of luck to you and all us just jumping in this. ";-Dx jack
