New to straight razors...
Hello y'all. My name is Anthony and I am new to the world of straight razors. After 30 years of shaving, I find myself wanting something different. After moving into a new house and having the Mrs. misplace all my razors and cartridges, I have the greenlight to invest in a new shaving set-up.
I have a $100 budget to work with, and browsing the forums for insights and reviews has been incredibly helpful in avoiding a few of the brands on the No-No list. I just wanted to say hello and tell everyone Thank You here on SRP.
I'm currently browsing the Classifieds and keeping an eye out for what I will be starting my journey with. Tuesday begins the new adventure!You know what we need?... Six blades.

Welcome to SRP. Just remember you need at least four items in that 100 dollar budget. One needs to be a shave ready razor, a strop, a brush and shave soap or cream.
The strop and razor will take up most of your budget.

I have already blown the budget, lol. Only took 3 items, too... I even impressed myself.
Now I just need to find a good soap that my face enjoys. All I've ever known was Gillette shaving cream.You know what we need?... Six blades.
