    Default Beginners' Tips: December 2015

    Season's Greetings!

Many beginners reading this will have received, or are about to receive, something sharp and shavey over the holidays. It is important that you take some time to familiarise yourself with the correct operation of a straight razor: the grips, the stretching, lathering, angles etc. There's a lot to know, and popping off to the bathroom with your brand new straight razor after Christmas lunch (and after a glass of bubbly or two) is probably not the ideal way to begin your new shaving journey.

So take some time to peruse the forum. In particular, read some of the beginner's material in the Library section. Here are some links to help:

Good luck with your new razor, keep safe over the holidays, and when you get the chance pop into the forum and say hello.

Having a new straight razor combined with the inspiration of a new Star Wars film might be a dangerous combination....just saying...
