    Default Today is the day..

So this morning i'm going to do my first full shave with all the correct supplies and a SRD sharpened Dovo, my 4th overall attempt.

If i never post again it means i slipped.

    Good luck!

I will admit... my first shave with a straight (I dove into the deep end), I paused & centered myself mentally when I got to my neck & watched my jugular pulse.

    Just go slooooooow...
Being a noob myself, I find myself wanting to be faster.
As near as I can tell, fast and stupid is dangerous.....
    Good luck!

So about 2.5 hours later and i successfully shaved my neck and most of my head (not around the ears yet).

Thank god i am on vacation.

Had 2 weepers total, alum block fixed that.

The Dovo SRD sent me is just awesome.

What's the worst thing that could happen? Kidding aside, everyone gets the odd weeper to start with, and they get less and less as you get better until they are a rare occurrence. Typically they happen with too much pressure, and/or poor skin stretching.

My first attempt went very badly. I wasn't doing anything right and i sliced myself.

Im getting closer to the perfect balance of angle, pressure, tautness and lather.

Its an art, that's for sure.
