Thanked: 0Newbie with Razor requiring honing questions
Hello I am new and from reading all of the information on the board here and then looking at my straight razor, I realize I require it to be honed. I picked up some other razor and barber hones off of ebay to practise but I want to send my new Dovo one out to be honed.
The questions are what is the best proces to send it out or approach a honemeister about using them. I live in Victoria, BC Canada and was looking for a honemeister in Canada or the US. I also realize that these people are busy and I have been using my DE in the mean time while I figure out where to send my straight razor. SO how long of turn around time does it typically take to send it out and receive it back honed and shave ready? If anyone that hones has a light workload and could fit mine in please pm me. Is there a customs issue crossing the border between Canada and the US? Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Wow, no answer yet. Sorry bout that. It usually takes just over a week turn around. I usually hone a razor in a few nights sittings, just because.
