Default Whoo hoo DD Dwarf is shave ready

Well I finally did my second full shave with a straight razor. Ok I'm still jazzed...

This was my first full shave with the DD Dwarf I got off Ebite that had the edge removed, I mean there was NOTHING sharp on that edge. So I honed and honed using Lynns recommended piramid, twice, till I could feel an edge. I got a "Bismarck" strop localy and did an untold number of rounds on it... mostly getting the feel for it than I think I did 20 rounds tonight.

This was a far better shave than my first one (suprise) with the DD Styledge. I think I have a much better edge on the Dwarf. Now to work on the "Unknown" and styledge till they are ready.

Yup I'm still all red faced but no cuts or nicks, nothing the aftershave balm I got couldn't quench. And as a bonus my wife acually likes it... wow first time hit

This has been a great experience Doing it all yourself is really a great feeling. I'm a history nut in many ways and this is just getting me more intouch with it. Now to get that muzzleloading set up and really go to town

That's great news. I'm glad the patience and hard work paid off.
