Thanked: 0New here and in need for som advice
Hi, I want to start shaving with a straight razor. I have looked on a good amount of sites for some equipment. I live in Norway and I was wondering if some of you can help me find an affordable kit/set i can start shaving with. I have a guy in Bergen that can hone the blade. So it dosent have to be a 100% shave ready It would be awesome if you could recommend a norwegian site or i site that ships to Norway that is reliable. I have a badger brush so i dont need that. but apart from that I dont have anything.
Thanks

You have three SRP Members in Norway, they are:
Birnando (Oslo and Akershus primarily, but everyone is welcome to stop by)
Zephyr (Oslo/Akershus)
str8fencer (Oslo and surrounding areas)
All have years of experience and can answer your questions (and possibly needs) with more than useful information. PM one of them."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

Thanked: 55I believe you also have one of the best strop makers in Norway too. Scrupleworks. Have looked on his site and he does beginner strops which would probably be a good idea to learn on before getting or using one of his more expensive works of art. One of those experienced members near you will probably have good advice on where to get a razor from.
