Just wanted to let y'all know that after reading and watching videos on here I have progressed to a full face shave. In fact I shaved my beard off using a straight razor that I purchased from the classifieds here. It felt great and fairly natural except for the nose area and I only shaved with the grain this time.

I have found a favorite soap so far and that's the razorock mudder focker. I will be purchasing a round point razor next week. No problems with my square point but it did make me a little nervous here and there.

Should I go with a Dovo or Boker. It will be a cheaper razor as I am just getting into straight razors but I do want to purchase a professionally honed one. I have been looking at them on vintage blades. Any issues with that company?
