Thanked: 0Hello from Western PA
Hi all, I'm new here. So new that I'm not sure I did this right the first time about two hours ago! I just recently found a family heirloom Wm Greaves & Sons razor . From what I've read it dates to about 1845-1850. I'm wondering about the originality of the scales. They seem to be wood ? with some kind of inlays shaped like diamonds and hearts. They are on both sides , but not uniform by today's standards. I just wondered if you thought they could be original to the blade. It's all in pretty decent shape from what I can tell. Thanks for such a great place to learn!
