It doesn't perhaps say Hewlett & Sachs instead of Hewlett and sons does it?
Never heard of Hewlett and sons.
If it does say Hewlett & Sachs then it was made in Germany and imported into New Jersey, USA around 1900.Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead - Charles Bukowski

Thanked: 3215Valuation just causes problems, especially when trying to value some ones heirloom, from a bad photo. So rather than create problem, we just try to avoid it.
Imagine trying to value a diamond ring, sitting next to the photo you posted.
And really, it is worth what someone is willing to pay, which based on the photo, not much, it is not a collectable razor, nor in great condition.
Now, the stone it is sitting on, may be worth more than the razor, some better photos and some cleaning would tell.
