Thanked: 220This might not be a valid question, but would it be possible that one side of the razor bevel is different from the other, causing one side of the blade to not shave as well?

When I started I could only do right handed WTG on my right side. I couldn't do XTG or ATG on my right side with my right hand at all. I switched to doing the right hand side with my left hand and the hair just popped right off. It is about angle and pressure and after about a year of shaving I was able to shave with either hand or both and get my whole face smooth.

Thanked: 0I will have to try and get used to some left handed shaving, and see. That seems weird to me,but that is what I was thinking,I'm not sure why I can't do the right side right handed, but I was wondering if that could be the problem! Thanks!

If the blade came from SRD then it is honed properly, they test them before sending them out.
I know one of the things I was doing wrong with right hand on right side was that wrist would flex during the stroke and change the blade angle. Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead - Charles Bukowski
