Go slow. Kept your lather wet, your skin tight and your angle low.

That's one heck of a nice setup for a first time straight shaver!
Find and stay in your comfort zone!
    The fun begins!
    Good luck!!!

Yes attaching files is a pain.... and remembering to have camera on right side is a pain sometimes.

There also must be a delay. I thought it erased the first post...

Quickly becoming one of my favorite razors. I shaved with my Bismarck this morning. Very nice.

As stated above, take it easy for your first few shaves. Angle low and try to keep track of the whole edge. Try also to avoid any interruptions during your shave.

    Good luck.

It is probably just as easy to edit the post, and yes when posting from a phone camera orientation is a pain in the bum.

The Esbjerg aftershave oil - it's sublime.

My skin tends to dry out, especially with using alcohol based aftershaves frequently, flaking, dry skin, that sort of thing. So since I've found this stuff, tiny drop on the palms and work into the face, leaves almost no residue on the hands at all - then I get dressed, and before I head out - then some aftershave - haven't had dry skin since, it's great for the entire face, forehead etc....give it a try.
