I'm still alive!!!
So, took the tablet upstairs and watched Lynn's video while I made a feeble attempt to copy him. So long and short of it was: cheeks no problem, chin was ok, neck was a little difficult, my first nick happened on the side of cheek( yea stupid right), and the nose was a HOT MESS. Got two nicks under my nose. Over all it wasn't too shabby, my right hand needs a lot of work (yes I am a lefty)and my angles do too. Felt that I was holding the blade too flat or against the skin, so it was scrapping a lot instead of cutting. But it's a work in progress, I don't need stitches, and tomorrow I get to use my SRD module paddle strop for the first time!!! Thanks to everyone for all advice and I am sure there will be more questions to come!!!

Thanks for sharing. Keep at it and things get better. I have less than a month of daily straight shaves under my belt and am now getting some very nice shaves without blood. I was ready to give up after the first week but stuck it out. Now I'm hooked. Have fun!

Nice, before you know it, it will all come together and you'll get a 3 pass shave in 15 minutes.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Thanked: 228Good going but be careful as you get better. That is when you get cut when you get overconfident. Don't ask me how I know. I'm sure others can relate.
