Thanked: 1irritation
hey guys i wanna ask you about a problem i been having since a while now I get irritation in the same spot over and over. I thought about getting a better shaving cream (using Barbasol) + my braun 7 but then I found a much cheaper way to get a smooth shave. I make my own pre shave with two parts castor oil, one part olive oil and one part grape seed oil. I add some lavender essential oil for smell. After I started using that in combination with the Barbasol my irritation died down significantly and I don't even need an after-shave because some of it says on my face. Just a thought hope it helps.
tell me what you think guys

That will work. Pretty much what I mix up for my wife, except I use jojoba oil instead of castor oil.

Organic coconut oil works well for pre shave or post shave, it has a natural healing quality to it and is readily available at the grocery stores, it will look sold in the jar but it has a very low melting point we're talking melt in the hand low. Google search for more complete info, ope this helps. Also try different angles and or pressure of the shaver.

A better quality shave cream or soap will probably get rid of the last of the irritation.Barbasol does not give as much glide and cushion as others will.
