I don't know about the technique because i haven't shaved with a straight razor that much, i just put as much pressure as i felt comfortable.
I also tought about contacting Adam but i actually really don't care about these marks, i just want someone experienced to take a look at the blade and make it sharp again (hone it or whatever necessary)

As and when you get it honed, try again with no pressure at all. Take your time, it will come to you. I still have a long way to go myself.
As for the marks it really depends where they are, if they are on the cutting edge that's a definite issue. Make sure you dry the razor thoroughly too. Have a good look in the beginners section here too, it is full of really useful stuff.
Stick at it you will get there and you will enjoy the journey too.Fact: Opinions are not the same as facts... Well, that's my opinion anyway

As has been mentioned this age old art takes patience. Go slow, remember it's not a race. With time and practice you will get better at all aspects.Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
