I ordered a dovo from them 4 or 5 years back, can't remember if I had to pay extra for honing, but it did come honed & truly ready. Well, as ready as any razor can ever be for an amateur. 2nd time out the gate I tapped the faucet & put a big ding in the blade.

My advice on pressure is this:
Ideally you'll have already decided exactly where your razor is going before it touches your face. When you go to make contact imagine you're just scooping the foam off your face. Don't think about shaving, or making sure you cut the whiskers, or anything like that, just scoot your blade under that lather nice & easy. Just like scooping a little icing off a piece of cake because there's too much. You don't mash your fork down into the icing, you just slide it in & scoop it off.
That's how my brain works, anyways
