5TH Shave!!
SO just had THE best shave of my life, with the help of a safety razor to clean up but just wow. Did my mustache, sideburns both sides, and my neck with the straight razor and did my chin with the DE. I really did a thorough prep, even microwaved one of my shaving towels. Seriously recommend that, got that sucker so hot really helped soften my beard. I also spent a lot of time building a really good lather with my Omega boar brush, and TOBS sandalwood cream. All my work really paid off and I got one of the most comfortable close shaves off my life. Finished with Thayers Lavender Toner and Nivea Balm. So much facesterbation.

Congratulations on your 5th enjoyable shave.
It will continue to get better from here, no doubt. As Rez says there will be many more aha moments and some setbacks that you will have to work through. Take your time, focus and don't get too overconfident. It will take all of 100 shaves for you to find somewhat of a good comfort zone. Keep watching video's, learn and practice new strokes that you think will work well for you, and in no time you'll be an old pro.
Enjoy this part of the journey!
