Yeah either my first or 2nd razor & several of my accessories/consumables came from cs. I wound up sending the razor to Lynn after shaving with one from srd a week or so later.

I am on the other side of the creek from most of the guys here and most of my shaving stuff comes from a few companies in eastern Canada. Classic edge, Fendrihan, Italian Barber, Men's Essential. There are a few new ones on the west coast I willl try the next time I am ordering stuff. There are a few companies around with less than stellar reputations. Now that you are on the forum you should be able to find the ones everyone loves.

From a quick look at the site it seems like they charge exorbitant prices for poor items. Would avoid and use one of the reputable site's you find recommended here. From memory others have had problems with items from this site previously
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

I didn't look closely enough to compare prices. I've ordered a few things from razoremporium.com, but my main store is srd. If they're out of stock on something or I need multiple items & they don't carry everything I want I can usually get it from west coast shaving, but I always try Lynn's store first.

I am sure glad I saw this post today. I have four vintage blades I have to have honed and was going to have them done at Vintage Blades. That is where I got my first straight at and was very pleased with the razor I received. The strop was another story all together though. I was a little hesitant with the quick turn around and they do not state that the honing is hand done like SRD says.
