Believe me, I have no illusions about the use and maintenance of a straight razor over the disposable. You see, I enjoy the challenges of doing things differently. I like the charm of the old traditional ways and the simplicity of function. I also understand that there is a lot more skill, devotion and patience required. All of which I feel I have an ample supply of. In time, I will learn the skills required but, until then, I must rely on the experts for the time being.

    Enjoy!

I've come close to the chuck it all point a few times, and every once in a while I'll have a bad day and get close again. (Like today, for example... )

So I can certainly identify. Keep at it--it gets better.
