Thanked: 0What sup from Houston!
Hello Gents, I'm new to this. Not shaving, but with a straight razor. I haven't bought one yet because I'm moving to Sydney soon, and I don't wanna cause problems at the terminal. haha Any advice on ANYTHING about straight razor shaving is invited and appreciated!

Welcome to SRP from a Houston ex-pat. . Everything you wanted to know about shaving with a straight razor may be found here. Check the Library for various topics and advice on what to do as a beginner. You can also find videos on YouTube from mentors here like Lynn and Gssixgun. If you have any questions you can't find answers to, ask away. The community here is very friendly. Also, it's a good idea to attend a local meet-up/get together as they flatten the learning curve considerably.
Good luck with your move to Sydney!--Mark

Welcome aboard. There are a few guys over east but Oz is based in Sydney and knows more than most about anything razor related. Would pay to send him a pm and try to meet up when you make it over here. Good luck and any questions feel free to ask.
