Greetings
Hello All,
I just joined, wanting to learn more about shaving with a straight. I'm sure I will enjoy learning about the history, technical details, and how to properly shave as well. I look forward to it!
I have used a straight before, many years ago: my grandfather's old one. I still have it, but I know at least not to try that again without having it worked on! Between Christmas and New Year's, I treated myself to a haircut and hot shave, and it was transcendental. It was like a spa day for my face! This has renewed my interest in straight razors, and I'm here to learn."I was cut off from the world. There was no one to confuse or torment me, and I was forced to become original."
