Default feeling pretty sure of myself right now

    1st time!
my whipped dog arrived about 3 hours ago..

After watching Lynn's video's, I only did my left sideburn area, although, it was pretty easy & I was starting to feel that I was getting the hang of it. I stopped. Finished with the DE.

I'm now better understanding the angle thing. I made out with no cuts or burn.

    A little bit more tomorrow.

    Wow!!!!!!!!!

    Good for you!

It's nice to see that occasionally someone follows advice. I suspect that the vast majority read that suggestion but go right on and (badly) complete the shave with the straight. I certainly would have ignored it!

Be patient and it will keep right on getting better.

Finally a winner. When I started, I took Lynns advice and worked my way up slowly trying to get feel for it. It was/is good advice. It also keeps you motivated because you meet with small successes from the start. If you try going ATG on the neck with your first shave, you'll be full of cuts and complaints.

Yes, good for you for following directions. I just wacked away till i was done with one pass. Turned out ok but i still had no idea.on what i was doing. Took a month before i got an idea and now after 6 months im confident with my shaves. It takes time. Dont rush it. The learn8ng prosses is a bit long but after 100 shaves it starts to come natural. Oh, and use both hands!

I'm pretty sure I didn't follow any of the good advice given. Took me a while to settle down and start actually doing things in proper sequence.

Stay the course, I know from experience doing it the wrong way first, that things go much smoother when you listen to people that've been doing it longer. And then proceed to actually do as they suggested you do.

    Way to go!

I didn't have this place and didn't really look for videos to learn from. Needless to say my first few weeks weren't too pretty

Stay the course and enjoy the success. Little by little, step by step you'll do fine
