Thanked: 292Although most people eventually learn to shave with both hands, some experienced shavers still shave entirely with their dominant hand. Thus, do not feel that you have to start with both hands.
Some people are comfortable shaving with both hands from the start, but I was not confident shaving with my left hand for a while. I shaved with my dominant right hand only until I got comfortable doing that. Then I started shaving portions of my face with my left hand. After a few weeks, I was just as comfortable shaving with either hand. However, because my chin is difficult to shave, I only use my dominant hand for that task.
Good luck with you journey into the world of straight razors.
