Hats off to Wid for the gorgeous Crane Cutlery round nose 5/8
I just love looking at this beautiful razor.
When I keep snapping up some of these great vintage deals I won't care if they look new or not, because they're not, and I think part of the charm can be that it looks old.
But this one looks almost new to me. Like I had look for signs of wear.
I really like that. I thought all the one's sold for a really good deal would look more used than this one.
He did a great job with it.
Time to go make it play nice now. It's been out of the mailbox for over an hour.Mark ~

As a beginner, it's fairly easy to believe one needs a brand-new razor to start this journey. However, through B/S/T or via eBay, you can often find amazing deals on quality vintage razors.
So what if they show some minor signs of use or patina. What really matters is their edge and evidence of minimal hone wear.
Good luck battling that RAD, Mark.--Mark

My bad, lol.
I figured everyone was like me, and knew all the classifieds, since I can't let one post without an inner battle after seeing it.
But, I forget. I'm new, and don't have all the treasure most here do.
He had some good pics, but they didn't do it justice
This one was pretty though
I'm not able to take one right now with all the craziness here.
The daughter tried her hardest to get me to cut my throat with it while shaving by running in to me, but no cuts! She might want to be a linebacker one day.
All those talks about being careful around me when I'm using it....Last edited by Jwtruth45; 06-08-2017 at 02:58 AM.

I lock the bathroom door when shaving and dont even let the wife in. If she really needs something I put the razor down and go see what she needs but nobody in the room when I got the razor next to skin.
It's just Sharpening, right?
