Mentor
Hello everyone. So I was wondering if there is anyone in the Denver area that would be interested in mentoring me. I suppose a bit about me is in order.
I'm 37, Irish and German decent. Father of two. I have an amazing 10yr old daughter and a 2 1/2yr old son. I'm an electrician by trade. Lean more to introvert than extrovert. Good with my hands. Pick things up quickly. A bit of a perfectionist.
If you would like to know more, feel free to pm. Hopefully Someone has the time and is willing to show me the ropes. I'm really looking forward to learning as much as I can.
Enjoy the day,
Benson

You did good asking about mentorship! As my father used to say "You don't know till you ask".
And don't forget about the Meet at the Garlic Knot later this month!! If you have any doubts about how helpful these meets are, just ask gasman. (I believe he'll also be at the meet). Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Thanked: 4826The meet at the Garli Knot will be an awesome place to meet people and learn. There is no better learning than in person.

I'm really looking forward to the meet! I have a question about the meet, do I bring some of my gear? Say a couple stones, razors and such.

Having been to the Denver meet , I will go out on a limb and say yes, bring some gear, you may learn to hone. E or two, plus they can see what your working with to help you along, plus bring an appetite and thirst. Tc

Fathers are a bank of knowledge. And it is true the things they say make more and more sense as we get older. Man life would have been far easier/safer if we would have let it all sink in earlier.
I apparently did the quoting thing wrong. Still learning all this. This is the first time I've ever been apart of one. I'll get it down though.
