Thread: Getting my blade near Boston shave-ready

When I first started it seemed like the razor wasn't cutting hair effectively. I know mine was shave ready, it was my technique. I was using too much pressure. I get much closer shaves using no pressure at all. It's difficult to do at first but you will get there.

As others have said though I would recommend getting someone to have a look at the edge for you, just to be sure. If there is someone local maybe they can help you with your stropping technique too.
