The last one in the pictures is the one i would start with
What do I do to get it ready... totally new.
I posted a few more I have under those pics also.
The yellow scaled one (with no gold wash) at the top of post 14 would be the one I would start with.
It has a lot of hone wear and looks like the blade might have a frown.
I don't think you can damage it much more by learning blade restoration with it.
Step one: Make sure your tetanus shot is up to date!
I've cut myself more doing clean ups than I have shaving. :(
I would tend to agree with chriswilson10. I'd start with metal polish and see what that reveals. I always go with least invasive process first

Which one would be the best to get started shaving with for a beginner?
I would love any feedback on the individual razors. (age, history, price...)
