Welcome aboard, the razor looks as though it should clean up nicely. One thing I'll tell you, be careful of the gold wash on the blade. It doesn't take much at all to scrub or polish that away for good.
Some great advice has already been given, read, read, read. Check in the workshop thread and the library for restoration tips and advice. Also consider sending it out to be done professionally, not judging your skills. Reason being a razor can be ruined very quickly and this razor is in good shape.
Either way ask anything you need and enjoy.Nothing is fool proof, to a sufficiently talented fool...
