    Default Lakeside Safety Razor

I have a safety razor that I cannot get information about. On the razor, it is marked Lakeside M.W.& Co. Patents Dec. 31,1901 April 29, 1902. There are five pieces, the razor, blade and blade holder and these are all fitted into a two piece round case. The case looks to be stainless steel, as well as the razor. The case is stamped "Safety Razor" on the bottom. Would appreciate any information on this razor.

My reference books are still packed after moving into much smaller space.

Perhaps...Montgomery Ward and CO; A well known large department store like Sears and JC Penney. It went out of business in the 60's
Lake side was, as I remember, also the name of a manufacturer in Minnesota along with Hess.
    Photos Please.

Actually Wards (as it was finally known) didn't close it's store here until 2000. I think it declared bankruptcy in 2001.

Thank you for the photos! That razor is totally out of my league. I have a few "Lather Catchers" similar but not in that class of workmanship
    I wish I could help..
