Welcome. Glad you got a good start. I too had a good first shave. It went good and bad for a while till i figured out what works the best for me. A wet lather really helps. A Soapy thick layered lather is not always the best. I find more water helps my shaves a lot. Keep the angle low. One or two spine widths only from skin and no pressure. Enjoy the shaves and ask any questions you might have.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Well congratulations boud! Welcome aboard. These guys here have given me a lot of information along the way. Ask any questions you need to help you get the best shave possible, someone is always there to help you with answers that work.

Thanked: 0The tips and advices on Staight Razor Place help me a lot too. But there are too many things to think and remember while shaving with a straight. I guest that with more pratice and mistakes I will develop some "automatic" skills.
