A pleasant surprise
One surprising thing I have found in my brief foray into straight shaving is that switching to my left hand seems to come quite naturally. I had feared that this would be difficult and lead to quite a few nicks, but so far it hasn't been hard at all.

When I started a couple of months ago, I was always frustrated by this useless appendage attached to my left shoulder. Now left hand does all the left side. Right hand does the right side and middle (favouring a backhanded method - palm towards my face). I was surprised at how quickly it developed and how it continues to develop.

When I first read a post about shaving with the non-dominant hand , I thought it was a joke . I tried it about a month ago and have been doing it ever since . I was surprised how easy it was .

I noticed when not using the dominant hand starting you tend to be a lot slower then your dom hand. So you can see that you will have more nicks and cuts on the stronger hand than your weaker, mostly because you feel you will slice your face off with your weaker hand lol.
