Thread: Any one near me?

Was wondering if any one lived near me to help with some pointers.
I live in South Central Illinois near Sorento.

Well make sure you put that location in the profile so that other members will take note.

I don't know how cause I don't even like smart phones much less computers but there is a member search function that will see how close you are to folks, if I'm correct Slawman(Dave) is in Il. I guess your not too far from me but not around the corner, I ride to Il. A lot on my bike when we do the 5 state one day ride. But someone will be close.

Getting some pointers on shaving and stropping will help a lot, then when you know how to shave and strop(the most important aspect) they can zero you in on maintaining the blade with a stone. Try the search, one of the eggheads will come along and tell you how f you don't figure it out, but if they see your location every time you post someone will note that and be ready. Tc

one of those says community. In that one you will find the members list. Most folks understand this stuff more than me so I'm guessing from there you should be able to figure out what to do.

Good for you for looking for one on one help. It makes a big difference!

To your left, in white, is a helpful link. Go to local help, and you'll find mentors in your state. Or maybe a member that sees your post may help.
