    Default Upper lip

I’ve made a lot of progress since I started SR shaving on November 1. I’m still cutting myself on my upper lip ( where my moustach would be if I had one) My first pass is N to S and my subsequent passes are W to E on my left side and E to W On my right. It’s those passes that keep getting me. Any thoughts?

I would try blade buffing that area. Without lifting the blade, make very light, short, back and forth strokes, repeatedly going over the area. I've never cut myself while buffing and find it very effective for shaving the upper lip.

Yes keeping that blade flat on the face and buffing really is the trick,, don't lift the spine and make sure you are stretched tight. Tc

I use three passes on upper lip. N to S. Then S to N. Finally from each side Left to right and right to left.

Only walk out on that plank as far as your comfort allows. I too do 3 pass on the upper lip, WTG/XTG/AGT. Very close and satisfying when finished but man was it stressful the first several times.

Blade buffing works well for me in this area too! For me, this is where I see how good the edge really is, sharp=smooth.
