    I found this piece on wikipedia to be well done and informative. Of course I will leave it to the experts to comment, but I for one, found it very interesting.

    Seems to be a very comprehensive article written by someone who is knowledgable about straights.

    Very informative. Sounded like good correct info. A good read for sure. Dont know if it would help a newbie to learn to shave, but worth the time to read to get a good idea on proper names and understanding of what its about and where the S.R. came from.

    I did like this statement...

    Sharpening is usually not completed during manufacturing, instead being done after purchase.
    It's just Sharpening, right?
