Thanked: 10intro
i am new here (lurking for a few weeks) and new to straight razor lifestyle still less than 100 shaves.
in north east Florida
still working on shaving skills and honing skills and I hope i'm finally in better control of acquisition syndrome.
my razor of the week is a Genco "fluid steel" ... not sure why yet but I find my self leaning towards the thinner steel
Happy new year!!!Last edited by biglou13; 01-01-2019 at 04:20 PM.

Welcome aboard. Your tastes will change with time, and experience. I find joy with all types of grinds, especially the older types from the 1700s to 1800s.
Enjoy your time here, glad to have ya.Mike

Welcome to SRP. Glad to have ya in the group. Jump right in and ask questions. We are here to help you and get you to buy more. Lol. Nothing wrong with thin blades. Its all personnal choice. But as Outback said, after a while your choice may change to others shapes and sizes. Its all in the fun.

Thanked: 556Welcome from north of the 49th.
There is a lot of information and expertise to be had at SRP. Just ask and you will receive several replies from the helpful folks.
Check out the library if you haven’t already done so. There is good info for beginner wet shavers there.David
