Why I keep coming to the Beginners forum...

This is one of my favorite areas on SRP, because:

• I’m still learning
• I like meeting new folks here
• I like sharing what little I know

I also like pointing out encouraging threads to people new to the forum. One of my favorite things is the concept of meeting and learning from other members in person. I’ve only done that once, but found I got a lot of encouragement from just seeing another person’s work.

That’s why you should have your location in your public profile. You might be surprised to learn that someone with a lot of experience living right around the corner, or at least within an hour or so away. You can learn a LOT quickly by finding local help.

Best of all are the get together and meet-ups that happen occasionally. Look through some of the meet-up threads and imagine all you could learn by going to one! Some day soon I’m going to do that.
