Why I keep coming to the Beginners forum...
This is one of my favorite areas on SRP, because:
- I’m still learning
- I like meeting new folks here
- I like sharing what little I know
I also like pointing out encouraging threads to people new to the forum. One of my favorite things is the concept of meeting and learning from other members in person. I’ve only done that once, but found I got a lot of encouragement from just seeing another person’s work.
That’s why you should have your location in your public profile. You might be surprised to learn that someone with a lot of experience living right around the corner, or at least within an hour or so away. You can learn a LOT quickly by finding local help.
Best of all are the get together and meet-ups that happen occasionally. Look through some of the meet-up threads and imagine all you could learn by going to one! Some day soon I’m going to do that. Until then, this is one of the places I visit regularly: https://sharprazorpalace.com/get-togethers-meetings/Last edited by Haroldg48; 01-15-2019 at 04:15 AM.

Yes, Harold. You are one of the fine gentlemen we have in this forum and thank you for helping others as much as possible. In this day and age, it is hard to find good people willing to take the time to help others and to think about others instead of themselves. This is what makes SRP great. We have members that will go out of there way to help someone to learn this old way of shaving. Bravo Harold!
It's just Sharpening, right?

I always check the 'New Post' to see what questions the new guys are asking and see if I can help, I am just giving back help that I received when I was a beginner.
