Here's something that they do in barbers school, to learn about pressure and proper angle.

    SHAVE A BALLOON.!!!.

Yep......this is what we mean by saying....shave the lather, not the face. And I'd bet a chippy razor would show itself, in this test.

But seriously, shave a balloon a few times, for crap n candy.

Take Outback up on his offer.
Take all of Martys comments to heart as its the truth.
The saying goes... After 100 shaves you start to understand what your doing.
So go slow and add a little at a time to your shave. After a few months it will go easy. But until then, dont exspect great shaves right away.
    It's just Sharpening, right?

Thank you for your advice guys,

Another quick question if I may?

How do you get rid of the shaving soap smell from your brush so you can start fresh if you change your cream.

I have Cognac & Cuban Cigar and Sandalwood but all I can smell is th Cognac one because it is the stronger.

    Thank for your help.

BTW, Steve. Here's what I'm sending ya.

Its the only 5/8 round point I have to give away, at this time. Nothing special to me, got plenty others, just square points

LoL, so the best plan is to have a different brush for each cream.

I reckon I will use Haroldg48’s suggestion until my collection grows

No you can use the same brush but having more is cool. I happen to be a brush snob. But I use them in any soap I use. If the soap your using is that strong I probably wouldn’t use it

The scent diminishes in a few days, typically.
Its all part of the hobby, your out wandering around, see a brush, razor, shave mug, its cheap...you buy it.! Restore it and enjoy. Keep it, sell it, donate, or give away. Pay it forward, we call it.
