Thanked: 0Hello All....and onto this bandwagon I go
Hello Everyone,
So I have been shaving using DE for a few years so far. Been playing with the idea of going the SR route for a while, and after a gentle push from a fellow shaving enthusiast, I decided, why not just get on the bandwagon instead of finding excuses not to? And...here I am.
So a little bit about me. I try to keep myself active and intersted in a variety of subjects. So far my hobbies include cycling, skiing, horology, automotive, high-end audio, and music, specifically, 1940-1960s jazz and now SR. I enjoy traveling as well, though that is less of a hobby right now and more of a goal to achieve.
It is my pleasure to meet you all. I do hope that I do not drive you all too crazy with my questions.

Thanked: 3224Welcome to the forum and as always be sure and read the forum's library section. There is quite a bit of useful background info there. Feel free to ask any questions you have and we all had questions when we started.

Welcome to the hobby farm.
We raise razors, brushes, soap, strops, hones, DEs, food, etc
I suggest you put your town in the avatar. An experienced member may be close by.
We like pics! It is a lot easier to get a question answered if we can see the object.
Have fun. Go slow. Read a lot of the beginner section. If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Welcome. This is a great group and we're glad to have you. Most of us are already a little crazy so your questions won't bother anyone !
I agree with Dave that adding your location to your public avatar might help you find some local help, which is invaluable.Just call me Harold
