Hello everyone. I am new to this site and would appreciate any advice offered. I am a custom knife maker and I've been making straight razors for 10 years. I would like to learn more about what the public likes in a straight razor. I imagine it would help me build a better product. Knowledge is important to me.

If you are looking for feedback specifically, post images and questions in the respective sub forum - have a look around

Welcome to SRP. Take a good look thru our library and ask questions. As stated, pics of your work and questions will get you what you are looking for. Also take a couple minute to read the rules of the forum. This is the most informative place you will find for straight razors.

Thanked: 3226Welcome to the forum. I think you will find that what the public likes in a straight razor, aside from being able to take and hold a shave ready edge, is as varied as there are people tastes being what they are. Posting photos of your work would help. Are you a regular user of straight razors?

Thanked: 4827Welcome to the forum. There are a few razor makers here and many users. I think most would agree that it is function over form.
