Thanked: 1Your right Tony, I was expecting the whiskers to "simply slide off the face" and nothing less but when that didn't happen I simply thought "damn, this razor isn't sharp/ready". Of course at the time I didn't take into consideration that maybe it was from my lack of experience and no technique.
Hey, I said I was nice, not smart ;-)
And many thanks for you other guys who contributed. All posts were read and gained new insights from them all!
Btw Tony, as soon as the new strops are released you'll be hearing from me...
Again guys, thank you.

Thanked: 0Practice is the element that has provided the greatest improvement in the quality of my shaves. It's occurred to me that whisker patterns and beard textures may be as unique as finger prints.
I'm still discovering what works best on my face.
Regards

Thanked: 1Oh for sure on all points!
Now that I've used the razor once straight from Lynn I don't want to use it again until I purchase (my leather belts are the skinny ass ones used for formal occasions, otherwise useless...) a strop.
