Thread: introducing me!

I've been browsing forums and am finally converting to straights! It has taken all summer as i've been waiting to be less broke...or more since i have a line of credit for school now which is being used to buy things!

I'm slowly introducing myself to the world of straights with buying the razor of the month from vintage blades the dovo 5/8 that's coming pre-honed by Lynn since it was a good price to start off at.

I also bought the very last of Tony's #1 honey brown as my strop. Slowly as I scrounge up more cash I plan on buying a hone and soaps and mugs etc...as the addiction worsens.

I will depend on the advice of everyone here to help me in my journey!

Welcome aboard Erik. You may want to also order a paddle strop pasted with chromium oxide from Tony. That will keep your edge shave ready for a while and is cheaper than a lot of hones.
