To the 'straight' side!

Going on vacation Stateside in about a week and a half, I'm thinking it's a good time to dip my toes in the straight shaving waters.

I'm hoping to find a good startup set with a shave-ready razor and strop, but I'm not averse to buying piece by piece, either.

I'm looking forward to getting started!

Just for vacation, unfortunately (I work overseas in support of the military). I've not shaved with a straight yet. I've been wetshaving for about a year and use a Slant/Feather without tearing my face off.

Well, I've ordered Lynn's CD, a 4 sided paddle strop and a starter razor... hopefully they'll all arrive at the house before I get there to start my vacation! (Next weekend)....

Cross your fingers for me, guys!!
